Business identity
Tronix Energy is operated by Tech Tronix LLC (State of organization — to be provided). Tronix Energy is an energy brokerage and authorized distribution organization that represents customers in comparing and enrolling with independent retail energy suppliers.
Tronix Energy is not a utility and does not generate, transmit, or distribute electricity or natural gas. Tronix Energy is not a retail energy supplier and does not sell energy to customers. Your contract for energy supply is with the supplier you choose.
Licensing and registration
Many states require energy brokers, aggregators, and their agents to register with or be licensed by the state utility commission. We list our registrations and license numbers here once they are obtained and verified, and we market only in states where we and our agents are appropriately registered.

Your utility
Your local utility continues to deliver your energy, maintain service, read your meter, and respond to outages and emergencies, regardless of which supplier you choose. Utility delivery charges, regulated fees, and taxes continue to apply. Depending on your utility, the supplier’s charges may appear on your utility bill or on a separate bill.
Compensation
Tronix Energy may receive compensation from suppliers when customers enroll, and may share that compensation with partner companies and independent agents. Compensation may differ by supplier and plan. This compensation does not change the price you pay for a plan. You may ask us about the compensation we receive for your enrollment.
Rates and information
Plan rates, terms, fees, and renewable content are provided by suppliers and may change at any time. We show whether a rate is a supply charge only or an all-in estimate (such as the average price shown on a Texas Electricity Facts Label). Estimated monthly costs are illustrations based on the usage entered and are not bills or quotes.
We do not guarantee savings, and we do not compare plans against utility default service unless we say so expressly.
Your rights as an energy customer
- You will receive the supplier’s contract documents and any state-required disclosures before your enrollment is completed.
- You may have the right to rescind your enrollment within a period set by your state, without penalty.
- Variable rates can change; fixed rates are fixed only for the stated term, and the supplier must notify you before the term ends as required by your state.
- Early termination fees, if any, are set by the supplier’s contract and shown before you enroll.
- Your supplier must not be changed without your authorization.
If you have a concern, contact us or your supplier first. You may also contact your utility, or file a complaint with your state utility commission or attorney general’s consumer protection office.
Independent partners and agents
Many customers are assisted by partner companies and independent agents authorized by Tronix Energy. They are independent businesses, not employees of Tech Tronix LLC or of any utility or supplier. Authorized representatives must identify themselves and the company they represent, must never claim to represent your utility, and may offer only the plans they are authorized to sell.
